Of the 175 employees responding to a survey conducted by a group of Wall Street Journal reporters and editors, 72 percent said they oppose returning to the World Financial Center near Ground Zero. “Health concerns, both physical and psychological, were the most frequently cited reasons,” says the survey report. The 21 percent who favor a return cited convenience — such as an easier commute — and a need to show The Journal is part of the downtown rebuilding effort, reports Paul Colford.
