Note from Al- I hope you had a great Christmas. The day after can be a tough day to come up with stories. That’s why I will post Morning Meetings throughout this holiday week to help you.

Car Refinancing Could Save You a Bundle

You know about refinancing homes and how that saves money. Here is a story from WCAU, Philadelphia, about a Pennsylvania man who refinanced his car and saved a quick $60 a month. Drop me a note if you do this story, I think it has a lot of potential. Is there any downside to refinancing your car that we don’t know about?

Ear Candles

I ran across this at a Health Day. It turns out ear candling is fairly popular and there are very strong critics who say that not only does it not work, but the practice is dangerous. Basically, ear candling, or coning as it is sometimes called, involves lighting a candle in a patient’s ear.

Supporters say this practice helps clear sinus and ear problems. It is an interesting and visual story to be sure.
