Here’s a tip: Don’t use the Web. It’s just a huge time suck. Most of the stuff is crap. The rest is made up. Hello? Hasn’t anyone heard of a newspaper?
Need to find information for a story quickly? Pick up the phone or — gasp — leave the protective shelter of your cubicle and talk to a human being — double gasp — face-to-face. It’s called reporting.
Oh, and if I see one more magazine article that uses Google to measure something’s popularity, I’m going to Google that writer upside his or her head.
Long live dead-tree editions!
P.S. I pity the Fool who doesn’t send me a Web tip this April.
