WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive has a new CEO and publisher, Caroline Little, replacing Christopher Schroeder, who moves on to the position of vice president of strategy for the Washington Post Co., where he’ll advise Post Co. chairman Donald Graham on Internet and online advertising matters. Little has been COO for the Internet arm of the company since 2000 and president since early last year. During Schroeder’s tenure at WashingtonPost.com, starting in 1999, the site has consistently won awards through the years as best large newspaper website in a variety of competitions.
