Attend Poynter’s intensive and interactive one-day journalism workshop. Learn in large and small group settings. Eat and learn during a working lunch.
Here’s what you’ll get from the workshop:
Large group sessions that show how journalistic skills improve by using an ethical decision-making process
A choice of small group breakout sessions that show you how to:
· Come up with ethical guidelines
· Cover sex, sexual assaults, and sexual orientation
· Find the untold stories in your community
· Hit the streets with ethical tools to strengthen your reporting
· Handle hot, controversial decisions as an assigning editor
