Reporters, editors, visual journalists, news directors, producers, journalism educators, and college journalism students, here’s your chance to take your storytelling and writing to a new level of excellence. Attend Poynter’s intensive and interactive one-day journalism workshop. Learn in large and small group settings. Eat and learn during a working lunch.


Here’s what you’ll get from the workshop:
Large group sessions that show how journalistic skills improve by using an ethical decision-making process
A choice of small group breakout sessions that show you how to:
· Come up with ethical guidelines
· Cover sex, sexual assaults, and sexual orientation
· Find the untold stories in your community
· Hit the streets with ethical tools to strengthen your reporting
· Handle hot, controversial decisions as an assigning editor

The deadline to register and pay is: April 5, 2004. Sorry, we cannot accommodate walk-ins on the day of the seminar, and space is limited.
