If you should by chance be able to come to Paris next week, consider stopping in at the World Newspaper Association’s Conference on New Media and the Press Freedom Dimension. It’s happening Feb. 15-16 at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The conference will examine new media challenges and opportunities for press freedom. A lot of interesting people will speak there, such as Yahoo general manager Neil Budde, and OhMyNews founder Oh Yeon-Ho.

Best of all, this event is free and there is still time to register.
