The McClatchy-owned Bee says 87 employees accepted a buyout offer that followed a previous round of layoffs and attrition in June that shrank the staff by 8%. The buyouts went to 23 newsroom employees. || Buyouts and work-hour reduction programs at McClatchy’s News Tribune, Olympian, and Tri-City Herald were announced earlier this week.
