Baltimore Sun editor Monty Cook is joining the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication faculty April 1 to lead an experimental digital news and audience research initiative, which is designed to help news organizations adapt to the new media environment. || The Sun reports Mary Corey, head of print, will work as interim editor while the Sun searches for a permanent replacement.
