Ray Perelman and his investor son, Ronald O. Perelman, have joined the group of Philadelphia investors bidding to purchase the Inquirer, Daily News, and Philly.com and take their parent company out of bankruptcy. Ron Burkle had been allied with the investors but has now withdrawn from the bidding.
