Mac Rumors
A few Apple news sites are highlighting what appears to be an effort by CBS TV to prepare iPad-friendly video in advance of the tablet’s April 3 launch. The Other Mac Blog and Mac Rumors note that by visiting CBS.com with your browser set to look like it is an iPad, a demo page for HTML5 video is displayed. CBS.com videos are currently presented using Adobe’s Flash technology, which is not supported on the iPad. Several publishers have already announced they will provide alternate versions of their Web sites optimized for iPad browsers.
