Before she announced that she was running for Columbia, Mo. city council, Tracy Greever-Rice had a Columbia Daily Tribune employee — also her neighbor — delete her online account, wiping clean a comment history she didn’t want to surface during her campaign, reports Janese Heavin. The IT department employee “thought he was doing a friend a favor” and, Romenesko is told, “got a talking to” but no other discipline.
