Dave Davies, who is leaving the Daily News to work fulltime at WHYY, is asked if his departure is a vote of no-confidence in the future of newspapers. “The uncertainty around the future of newspapers, and the [Daily News and Inquirer] in particular, were a factor without doubt,” he says. “We are in bankruptcy reorganization, and that’s probably going to resolve itself in the next six months.
