Fox television is set to launch a new subscription service that will deliver mobile TV programs to smart phones. The service, Bitbop, will be available as a free app, but streaming or downloading of full episodes will cost a $10 monthly subscription fee. In addition, some movies may require an additional payment beyond the monthly charge. Fox, NBC and Discovery, among others, will be the first to provide content to the service. The app will launch within the next month and be available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry models.
