San Francisco TV station KTVU saw a 300 percent increase in page views to its mobile Web site in January 2010 over the same month in 2009. Total mobile page views for the month topped 1.6 million. The increase may be partially a result of severe weather in the area last month, however the trend supports a report from Gartner Research that predicts mobile devices will be the dominant Web browsing platform by 2013.
