This year’s Associated Press Managing Editors convention is taking place at Poynter. At Wednesday’s opening session, media industry leaders will discuss new business models for journalism and how journalism is being shaped by emerging consumer habits.

Moderated by Kate Marymont, Gannett vice president for news, the panel includes:

  • Tom Curley, Associated Press President and CEO
  • David Hunke, president and publisher of USA Today
  • Ernie Schreiber, editor for content development of Lancaster Newspapers Inc.
  • Chris Doyle, vice president of content of The E.W. Scripps Co.

I will live blog the session, called “Building the New Model,” starting at 2 p.m. ET. The archived blog will be accessible afterward.
