McClatchy release
McClatchy on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of 38 cents per share, compared to a loss of 25 cents in the 2008 quarter. Revenues for the latest quarter were $393.2 million, down 16.5% from the fourth quarter of 2008. Advertising revenues were $308.7 million, down 20.5%; and circulation revenues were $71.4 million, up 6.6%.
