Money from advertising for marijuana-related businesses has totaled 15 percent of Westword’s revenue this year and nearly 40 percent of its classified advertising revenue. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle gets about $7,500 in medical marijuana ads each month. “The joke around here is that it’s a budding business,” the publisher tells Jeremy Peters.
