According to the latest data from Nielsen, 32 percent of all Internet users in the U.S. used the mobile Web in December. That puts the total mobile Web audience at about 62 million people. The top 10 sites accessed by mobile users were closely aligned with that of the regular Web, with a few exceptions. Noted VentureBeat.com, “Not surprisingly, people care about weather, news, and sports when they are on the go, and Weather Channel, CNN and ESPN have succeeded in transporting their brands to mobile.”
