The New York TImes saw 78 million page views on its mobile sites and apps in March, according to CEO Janet Robinson. Speaking during the company’s quarterly earnings call, Robinson said the Times’ iPhone app, launched in July 2008, had reached 4 million downloads.

Robinson also confirmed the Times’ plans for a paid iPad app to accompany the free Editor’s Choice app currently available in the iTunes store.
