Internet Adoption Over Time

In addition to their data reporting that 79% of American adults use the internet, Pew’s Internet & American Life Project has also posted a graphic showing the percentage of use since 1995. Only about 15% were using the Internet in 1995, with many online users still getting their news from services like AOL and Prodigy.
