Army general counsel nominee Solomon B. Watson IV was grilled by Senate Republicans on Tuesday about two articles in the New York Times disclosing classified information when Watson was the paper’s chief legal officer. They questioned whether Watson could be trusted to protect secrets, reports Charlie Savage.
