An arbitrator has ordered Santa Barbara News-Press owner Wendy McCaw to pay former editor Jerry Roberts‘s legal fees stemming from a fallout at the paper. He calls the award “a decisive victory for ethical journalism.” McCaw was also told to pay about $167,000 in arbitration fees and expenses. || Earlier: Santa Barbara smackdown.
