Despite being under represented among smart phone owners, women outnumber men in the use of mobile devices for social networking. According to a new report from Nielsen, women represent 55 percent of mobile social networking users, outpacing men by 10 percent. When examined by age, mobile socializers from 35 to 54 are the largest cohort at 36 percent, two percent ahead of the 25-34 age group.
