The Optimist
The student newspaper at Abilene Christian University in Texas plans to be the first in the country to publish on the new iPad, it says. “Optimist editors plan to employ the new platform to deliver a more converged form of media to the ACU community in addition to the print, online and iPhone app versions of the Optimist,” said Cheryl Bacon, the chair of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
