Reporting on NewsPro, the Thomson Reuters mobile app that provides news and financial market information on the iPad, Robert Andrews writes that users spend three times longer with the app than they do on Reuters.com, according to session data.

Andrews spoke with Alisa Bowen, senior vice president and head of consumer publishing at Thomson Reuters, during the Open Mobile Summit in London. Bowen said the app has been downloaded 75,000 times so far.
