Job reductions and other cost-cutting steps helped the newspaper division to post a fourth-quarter operating income of $3.2 million, compared with an operating loss of $14.4 million a year earlier. For 2009, the Post had income of $91.2 million, up from $65.8 million in 2008. || Read the release. || A.H Belo release: In the fourth quarter, Dallas Morning News’ parent saw its lowest year-to-year percent declines in advertising revenue of the year.
