Wall Street Journal
Apple has moved its efforts to work with newspapers, magazines and textbook publishers “to the backburner” for the time being, according to a Wall Street Journal story. Citing unnamed sources, the Journal attributes this move to Apple’s need to finalize other content partnerships in the final weeks prior to the iPad launch on April 3. But, “nailing down the content has proven difficult as some potential collaborators weigh the advantages of working with Apple against the potential threats to their current sources of revenue.”
