In a new study published today, the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism reported that eight of the country’s 25 largest news sites attract more women than men.
Female readers outweigh male readers on the following sites: The Huffington Post, AOL News, Topix, Examiner.com, Yahoo News, Msnbc.com, ABC News and Bing News. About 56 percent of Topix’s readers are female — the highest percentage of all the top news sites.
