Editors divided on whether technology has improved day-to-day news coverage in their markets

About 53 percent responding to ASNE's survey said the focus on digital delivery and technology has improved coverage, while 33 percent said technology-related issues actually had hurt news coverage because they take time and effort away from core newsroom functions.
