Jay Penske, whose properties include Nikki Finke’s Deadline.com and Bonnie Fuller’s HollywoodLife.com, is making a push into entertainment TV by teaming up with ION Television to produce short (one or two minutes) news segments on several platforms, including screens in elevators and taxis. Lauren A.E. Schuker reports Penske’s “ENTV” (Entertainment News Television) will feature editors and journalists from his company’s digital properties, including Fuller and Michael Ausiello, who runs TVLine.com. The famously reclusive Finke won’t appear on camera, but she will make voiceover contributions. Topics to be covered will range from celebrity scandals to box-office reporting.
