Former First Lady Betty Ford will be buried beside her husband — former president Gerald Ford — today in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which honored her life with front page treatment several times since her death last week. Ford was also honored at a memorial service in Palm Springs, California on Tuesday, attended by First Ladies Rosalynn Carter, Nancy Reagan, Michelle Obama, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose conversation with former president George W. Bush captured attention. Former President Clinton and Barbara Bush are expected to attend today’s service for Ford.
