Dan Lyons reports New York Times tech columnist David Pogue has been dating Nicki Dugan, a vice president at a San Francisco PR firm that represents tech companies, including Amazon, Facebook, Cisco, Netflix, and Yahoo. Pogue disclosed the relationship to his Times editor last December, but readers haven’t been told about it. “The lack of transparent disclosure seems unusual, especially within the context of the New York Times, which has stringent policies about disclosing conflicts of interest,” writes Lyons.
