Less than 8% of Facebook fans see your posts
About 7.5 percent of the people who "Like" a Facebook Page actually see a post from that page on a given day, according to new statistics from analytics company PageLever. The reason is that most Facebook users rely on their news feed, which selects relevant posts from friends and pages based on the EdgeRank algorithm. In the study, pages with fewer than 10,000 fans performed slightly better (9.4 percent daily view rate) while pages with over a million fans reached just 2.8 percent of their fans each day on average. || Earlier: 7 keys to maximum engagement; post to Facebook at noon for largest audience.
