In this week’s career chat, we talked with Newsday reporter Kery Murakami, who was at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer when it went online only in 2009. Shortly after, he helped start Seattle PostGlobe. The site closed in July, after he had left.

During the chat, Murakami talked about what he has learned on the career roller coaster he has traveled in the past few years. He shared tips on running an online-only news site and on making the switch from mainstream media to an online-only site and back again.
