What Rocky staffers are doing two years after the paper closed
Former Rocky Mountain News editor and publisher John Temple reports 92 of the 146 ex-colleagues who responded to his survey are still working as journalists. (Survey summary.) Editorial cartoonist Ed Stein tells him: "While I enjoy not having to get up and go to the office every day, and don't miss the stress of daily deadlines (and of the constant uncertainty of the last years at the Rocky), I do find working at home isolating; I miss the collegiality and stimulation of the newsroom, especially when there's breaking news." || Temple in the Atlantic. || Romenesko/Feb. 26, 2009: The Rocky to publish its final edition on Friday. || "Final Edition": A video.
