I’m very pleased to announce that Jessica Winter is our new arts editor, supervising arts-related pages in the Culture section as well as arts and entertainment coverage on Time.com. She comes to us from O: The Oprah Magazine, where she ran the front of book for three years and saw the section through a full redesign last fall. She started her career as an editor at The Village Voice, and her writing on culture has appeared in Slate, The Guardian, The Boston Globe, The Believer and O. Her writing interests range from Terrence Malick to credit reporting to psychopharmacology, and she grew up reading TIME. Please give her a warm welcome.
