The Dallas Morning News grooms young talent with internship programs not just for college students, but for high school students.
During this week’s career chat, we talked with Selwyn Crawford, Morning News intern coordinator and recruiter, and Sarah Mervosh, a former Morning News intern who now works at the paper. They gave details about the internship program, explained why it exists and shared thoughts on what other newsrooms can learn from it. Crawford also talked about why the Morning News starts off its internship program at the high school level.
