One of the newest jobs on the landscape is Dao Nguyen‘s positon as director of growth at BuzzFeed. As TechCrunch’s Drew Olanoff recently explained, Nguyen’s job is to “build traffic by helping readers find the content that they want to read.”

During a live chat, we talked with Nguyen about what makes “sharable” content and how it can help you build your site’s audience. We also talked about what her position entails and why it’s important for newsrooms.

Nguyen, whose passion is developing compelling online media products, previously worked as director of project management for Dow Jones Ventures of a jobsite-and-editorial venture at Dow Jones. Before that, she was chief executive officer of Le Monde Interactif in France.
