Shazna Nessa, a deputy managing editor at the Associated Press, joined us for this week’s career chat.

During the chat, she talked about the skills journalists need to succeed in the field and ways that they can make themselves more marketable. She also drew on her experiences at the Associated Press and offer insight into what the AP looks for when hiring journalists.
