The fate of Mohamed Shaglouf, who was driving Stephen Farrell, Anthony Shadid, Lynsey Addario and Tyler Hicks as they covered the Libyan uprising, was unknown when the Times journalists were captured at a checkpoint in March. But the Times told the Committee to Protect Journalists on Nov. 7 that the Libyan driver had been killed.
