The Sunday New York Times contained two corrections for amusing naming errors:

The Video column last Sunday misstated the name of the irresistibly cute, furry creatures that appear in Joe Dante’s “Gremlins” movies. They are mogwais, not mowglis. Mowgli was a character in Kipling’s “Jungle Book.”

And:

A picture caption last Sunday with the Film entry in the Week Ahead column misidentified, in some editions, the actor who played Norman Bates in “Psycho.” He was Anthony Perkins — not Anthony Hopkins, who played the film villain Hannibal Lecter.
