Sarah Lacy’s recently launched tech news site PandoDaily made an important announcement today: it hired a copy editor.
The site has been publishing for roughly six weeks without a copy editor on staff. Now Nathan Pensky is there to, as Lacy writes, do “all sorts of old media-esque things like creating a PandoDaily style guide and declaring war on split infinitives.”
It’s always nice to see a copy editor getting work. but the most notable part of the post is its headline:
Yeah, a bit of a problem with the “it’s.” So did Lacy include that on purpose, or is it an unintentional example of why Pensky is needed? From the comment thread, it looks like Lacy was having fun with the headline:
