Three companies will get six months of free office space, equipment and support to develop an application that would be useful for Philadelphia Media Network, which includes the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Daily News and The three companies:

  • CloudMine, a company that provides back-ends for mobile apps
  • ElectNext, an app that tries to help people choose candidates based on issues
  • SnipSnap, an app that lets users take photos of printed coupons and use them with their smart phones
