Though we criticized many Iowa Caucus maps Wednesday, including some we featured Tuesday night, there was one we missed that may be the best of them all. (Thanks to Frederick Kaimann for the tip.) WNYC combined Google-mapped results from the Iowa GOP with demographic information from Patchwork Nation. Scroll over the map (after the jump) to see county breakdowns of which GOP candidate won more “Monied ‘Burbs” and who won “Tractor Country.” WNYC’s Senior Executive Producer for News John Keefe previously wrote about how and why the public radio station used Patchwork Nation data in 2010 for the New York elections.
