New York Times political reporter Michael Barbaro made a compelling observation about New York mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner’s website on Thursday: It seems the banner image isn’t of New York, but Pittsburgh.

The tweet quickly caught the attention of the Twittersphere, with several users noting that’s quite an embarrassing photo selection.

The site was built by NGP VAN, which bills itself as “the leading technology provider to Democratic and progressive campaigns and organizations.”

Weiner, it’s worth repeating, is working without much of a staff,” Azi Paybarah writes in Capital.
