A correction to an Associated Press brief about the recent opening of a $160 million expansion project shows how an incorrect number can mean the difference between an art museum and a doghouse:

In a story June 23 about expansion of the St. Louis Art Museum, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the museum is debuting a 210-square-foot expansion. The expansion is actually 210,000 square feet.
