Florida landlord Nabil Kashik grabbed a microphone from WPEC-TV reporter Lynn Gordon when she tried to interview him about reports that feces was backing up in bathtubs and on the ground on property he rents. Police arrested Kashik and charged him with battery, WPEC says.

Earlier this month a woman threw a rock at, and set her dogs upon, a reporter in Rhode Island. And last month in California, a van belonging to a TV crew was broken into — as was the car of the security guard hired to protect the TV crew.
