They’re an ad for a film called “The Book Thief,” New York Times Co. spokesperson Linda Zebian says in an email. The URL for the film’s website is on the second page.

“Like with any full-page advertisement, both pages feature The Times’s header, which includes The Times logo, date and page number,” she said.
