Good morning! Here are some career updates from the journalism community:

  • Edward Menicheschi is now president of Condé Nast Media Group. He was publisher of Vanity Fair. (Poynter)
  • Kim HeneghanKim Castro was named executive editor of consumer advice at U.S. News. Previously, she was managing editor for money and health there. (U.S. News)
  • Dan Mellon will be general manager of WJLA in Washington D.C. Previously, he was a group manager for Sinclair’s stations. Tony D’Angelo will be general manager of WSYX in Columbus, Ohio. (Sinclair Broadcast Group)
  • J.C. Lowe will be general manager of WEAR and WFGX in Pensacola, Florida. Previously, he was Sinclair’s general manager in Birmingham. (Sinclair Broadcast Group)
  • Deep Nishar, senior vice president of products and user experience at LinkedIn, is leaving the company. (LinkedIn)
  • Jessi Hempel is a senior writer at Wired. Previously, she was a writer for Fortune. (Jessi Hempel)
