WXYZ chief meteorologist Dave Rexroth lost his left eye in a fireworks accident Friday. He will receive a prosthetic eye and expects to return to his job in September, the Detroit station reports.
Rexroth was on vacation with his family, Mitchell Schmidt reports in the Iowa City Press-Citizen.
